Is Rossiter Therapy more effective than Massage Therapy?

Jun32024

When it comes to pain, there are many therapies that are highly effective.  However, practitioners are recognizing that pain and inflammation can be effectively relieved by utilizing a more specialized approach to deep tissue problems called Rossiter.  Rossiter Therapy treatments are a unique style of massage and physical therapy that utilizes a series of active release techniques to address stubborn pain, soreness, and restriction of movement at its source. Rossiter treatments are effective at releasing locked up deep connective tissue to allow a healthy state of pain free, fluid movement.  It is primarily performed with the practitioner’s foot, elbow or hands.  Utilizing strategic placement and weighted pressure, the practitioner safely pins-and-stretches the tissue while guiding the client through active, precise movements.  Patients often find it to be an excellent complement to their chiropractic adjustments as it addresses all layers of the musculoskeletal system. They are surprised to find this area specific treatment to be even more effective than massage therapy treatments.

DEEP TISSUE, AREA SPECIFIC ROSSITER THERAPY ADDRESSES STUBBORN AREAS OF PAIN

Is Rossiter therapy more effective than Massage therapy? When it comes to pain, there are many therapies that are highly effective. However, we have found a more specialized approach to relieve deep tissue pain called Rossiter.

Our Rossiter therapist is a trained Rossiter coach with a detailed understanding of how the body works. Treatments are done onsite in our clinic on several days of the week in order to collaborate with our chiropractors. Our patients find it to be an excellent complement to their chiropractic adjustments as we address all layers of the musculoskeletal system. They are surprised to find this area specific treatment to be even more effective than massage therapy treatments.
